Vorkommen
Emodin wurde in mindestens 94 Pflanzenarten aus 17 Familien nachgewiesen, insbesondere in den Familien der HΓΌlsenfrΓΌchtler (Fabaceae), KnΓΆterichgewΓ€chse (Polygonaceae) und KreuzdorngewΓ€chse (Rhamnaceae).cite-ref-biomed-pharma-2-0[2]cite-ref-newphytologist-3-0[3] Die Gattungen mit den meisten Arten, die erwiesenermaΓen Emodin enthalten, sind die Kassien (Fabaceae), Kreuzdorn (Rhamnaceae), sowie Rhabarber (Rheum) und Ampfer (Polygonaceae).cite-ref-newphytologist-3-1[3] In der Rinde des Purgier-Kreuzdorns kommt Emodin beispielsweise in Form dreier Emodin-8-O-Ξ²-Glycoside vor (Emodin-8-O-Ξ²-gentiobiosid, -glucosid und -primverosid).cite-ref-4[4]
Eigenschaften
